- SERVICE TERMS
CJ's Plumbing Repair provides plumbing, HVAC, sewer, drain, water heater, maintenance, repair, installation, inspection, and related services for residential and commercial customers.
Service appointments are subject to technician availability, weather conditions, access to the property, availability of materials, and other factors beyond our control.
Customers are responsible for:
• Providing safe and reasonable access to the work area.
• Ensuring utilities are available when necessary for diagnosis and testing.
• Disclosing known plumbing, HVAC, structural, electrical, or property conditions that may affect the work.
• Securing pets and ensuring a safe environment for technicians.
All estimates are based on visible conditions at the time of inspection. Additional repairs, labor, materials, or services may be required if concealed, unforeseen, or pre-existing conditions are discovered during the course of work. Any additional work requiring customer approval will be discussed before proceeding whenever reasonably possible.
Emergency service calls, after-hours service, weekend service, and holiday service may be subject to additional charges.
2. WARRANTY LIMITATIONS
Unless otherwise stated in writing, the Company provides a thirty (30) day workmanship warranty on labor performed by the Company. Manufacturer warranties on equipment, fixtures, parts, or materials are separate and are governed solely by the respective manufacturer. The Company does not extend or modify manufacturer warranties.
This warranty does not apply to:
• Customer-supplied materials, fixtures, or equipment.
• Normal wear and tear.
• Misuse, neglect, abuse, vandalism, or unauthorized modifications.
• Damage caused by freezing, weather, acts of nature, utility interruptions, power surges, or other events outside the Company's control.
• Pre-existing conditions, deteriorated plumbing systems, aging infrastructure, hidden defects, corrosion, root intrusion, or structural issues.
• Drain stoppages caused by recurring conditions, misuse, grease buildup, foreign objects, or conditions beyond the repaired area.
Warranty claims must be reported promptly and the Company must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and address the issue before repairs are performed by another contractor.
THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS THE CUSTOMER'S EXCLUSIVE REMEDY. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED HEREIN, ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE DISCLAIMED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
3. BILLING AND PAYMENT TERMS
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
For larger projects, installations, special-order materials, or custom work, the Company may require a deposit before work begins.
Accepted payment methods may include cash, check, credit card, debit card, financing, or other approved payment methods.
Any financing arrangements are subject to approval and governed by the terms of the financing provider.
Invoices not paid when due may be subject to:
• Late payment fees.
• Interest charges as permitted by applicable law.
• Collection costs, attorney's fees, and court costs incurred in collecting unpaid balances.
Returned checks may be subject to a returned payment fee.
The customer agrees to pay for all authorized labor, materials, equipment, permits, taxes, disposal fees, and related charges associated with the requested services.
4. SMS/TEXT MESSAGING TERMS
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages, you consent to receive communications from CJ's Plumbing Repair, which may include:
• Appointment confirmations.
• Appointment reminders.
• Service updates.
• Technician arrival notifications.
• Billing notifications.
• Customer service communications.

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
